Reporting directly to the Chairman of their assigned department(s), the Administrator will manage fiscal operations, compliance, and employee/faculty employment needs for their assigned area(s). Taking direction from and in collaboration with their chair, establishes department business and administrative mission and goals, and optimal environment that supports the department and College of Medicine’s academic and research program/activities and services. This role may work directly with faculty, staff, chairs, research professionals, and clinic administrators. This role is vital for overall operations for their assigned departments which can include clinic budget operations and research operations as well as the implementation of the department(s) strategic plan and assist with the development of business plans for new programs.
