Job Description:

The Transplant Coordinator serves as a clinician and clinical administrator for the organ transplant program and potential and actual recipients of transplants. Coordinates the pre-transplant evaluation, living donor evaluation, assists with post-transplant care management, post donation management in the inpatient and outpatient
setting, and responds to patient, dialysis unit and referring physician inquiries. Promotes Patient Safety by adhering to institutional and departmental policies and by practicing high standards of care

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, active RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Recent clinical experience in specialty field preferred.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Exhibits accuracy, integrity, and flexibility; is punctual and dependable.
• Possesses organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction and effectiveness under minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills; possesses group facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent clinical experience in specialty field preferred
BSN preferred.
