Job Description:

This position provides community outreach coordination between area physicians, hospitals, University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) and other referral sources. The person in this position will visit area physicians to promote University programs and service lines. They will act as a liaison between physician offices and the University to address any concerns or areas of improvement. In addition, the person in this position will be responsible for distributing marketing materials, University educational materials, and foster positive relationships with area physicians. This position will also promote service lines to internal staff, healthcare providers, and physicians to support efforts for internal referrals between service lines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor 's degree in Marketing preferred or degree in a related healthcare field required.
• Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare outreach experience preferred, or equivalent healthcare experience required.
• Consideration is given for experience in lieu of education.
• Valid State Driver’s License is required.

Communication and other skills:
• Excellent interpersonal skills and being able to present themselves in a professional manner.
• Strong organizational time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality per HIPPA guidelines.
