Job Description:
The Literacy Everywhere Research Assistant will research and collect information through complex techniques and procedures, prepare transcripts from observations and interviews, or other project specific methodology, write and edit materials for publication and presentation, meet with faculty supervisor on regular basis to maintain ongoing communication regarding the quality of the assistant’s performance, review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and perform other related duties as required, design and update project website.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in Social Work, Master’s or Doctoral degree program in Curriculum and Instruction or School Psychology program.
Prior experience working on projects related to early literacy and populations experiencing housing insecurity/homelessness.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working with a diverse population.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Motivation to work with young children (specifically ages 0-5 years old) and their caregivers.
