Job Description:

The Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine, and Life Sciences is seeking an Associate/Assistant Professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery who is either board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery. This position will assist the department with patient care, clinical activities, and education.
The Division of Vascular Surgery provides medical services to the community of NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all types of vascular diseases through different therapies, and treatments. With an accredited Vascular Laboratory on hand, the division continues to collaborate and actively engage in clinical and basic research opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of vascular diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all Vascular clinical services provided by the University of Toledo Physicians including floor work, surgery, endovascular procedures, consultations, and clinics as needed.
  • Provide Vascular Call coverage.
  • Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion.
  • Assist in the training and development of medical student and residents.
  • Participate in research meetings and education activities within the division of Vascular
    Surgery and the Department of Surgery

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ohio Medical License and DEA
  • Graduate of a Vascular Surgery program
  • Endovascular training
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery
  • Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
