Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Administration Director of Finance and Reimbursement, this job is responsible for managing and coordinating the CDM for UTMC which utilizes the EPIC system for charge entry/billing and Med Assets CDM Tool. An incumbent must ensure that all items on the CDM are a direct reflection of chargeable & billable services. This role requires experience with audit and investigation skills, financial modeling analytical skills, monitoring, interviewing, and applied or familiar knowledge of all aspects of Health Care and familiarity with CPT and HCPCS codes. This role is also responsible research and data retrieval, maintain reporting systems in the EPIC system.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a directly related field, or equivalent previous experience.
• Prefer at least three years of directly related work experience in Accounting or Finance. Healthcare experience extremely beneficial.
• Excellent analytical skills.
