Job Description:
The EMS Lab Skills Assistant is a part-time position located on the HSC campus of the University of Toledo and teaches in the classroom and laboratory and clinical settings. Under the direction of the Program Director, the EMS Instructor is responsible for assisting in lab skills education that parallels the NHTSA, Ohio office of EMS and the National Standards curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of three years' work experience in EMS
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Working knowledge/utilization of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
applications
• Current Ohio EMS Instructor
• Must have the ability to, as well as meet the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory training per the University mandatory training policy pursuant to the deadlines set forth therein.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent organizational skills are required
• Exceptional computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office are required.
• Excellent problem solving are required
