SmallTalk is a neonatal neurotechnology company creating the first intervention designed to improve brain development in preterm infants during their stay in the NICU. Our platform includes the NICU Egg System (commercial stage), which securely delivers parent-recorded voice to hospitalized infants, and the Active Egg System (pending FDA clearance), a patented, sensor-based therapy that enables infants to actively trigger their parent’s voice to accelerate brain development during the NICU stay. Supported by a $2.5M NIH grant, issued U.S. patents, and clinical studies showing improvement in early brain measures, SmallTalk is defining a new category of infant-driven neurodevelopmental therapy. Our high margin, hardware-enabled SaaS model allows NICUs to easily integrate developmental care tools with high clinical impact and strong commercial scalability.
