WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship and we’re growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We’re actively seeking a HR Coordinator to assist with the HR daily operations and processes; administer projects and maintain sensitive records and data.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
Benefits Program Administration:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of employee benefits programs, including but not limited to 401k, health insurance, FSA, and other related benefits.
- Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations of benefits for all employees.
- Monitor benefits data in HRIS, ADP and other relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
401k Plan Management:
- Administer and manage the company's 401k plan, including eligibility, enrollment, and contributions.
- Coordinate with the 401k provider to ensure seamless operation of the plan and timely processing of contributions.
- Conduct regular audits and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan documents.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Stay updated on federal and state regulations governing benefits programs.
- Ensure all benefits programs are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external benefits providers, brokers, and consultants to negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Evaluate vendor performance and advise for improvements or changes as necessary.
Employee Communication and Education:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about benefits offerings, changes, and updates.
- Conduct regular benefits orientation sessions for new hires and coordinate ongoing educational programs.
Open Enrollment and Annual Review:
- Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including plan design, communication, and employee education.
- Conduct periodic reviews of benefit plans, ensuring they remain competitive and meet the needs of the workforce.
Claims and Issue Resolution:
- Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve issues related to claims, coverage, and disputes.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of benefits-related inquiries.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze reports related to benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
- Use data insights to make recommendations for improvements or changes to benefits programs.
- File Form 5500 as well as other relevant reports and audits needed to stay compliant.
Termination Process:
- Manage benefits-related aspects of the employee termination process, including COBRA administration and final benefits reconciliation.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 1-3 year’s experience in Human Resources
- Proven track record of superior interpersonal skills
- Experience with G-Suite and MS Office
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask many projects simultaneously
- Strong internal and external communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
