WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
As a Program Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accelerator program and events. This entry-level position provides a unique opportunity to work closely with startups, industry experts and fortune 500 corporations in the Travel & Hospitality space. You will gain hands-on experience in program management, startup support, and community building.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Program Support (60%):

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of accelerator programs, workshops, and events. Ensure all logistical details are handled effectively, including scheduling, communications, and materials preparation.
  • Support participating startups by addressing their needs, facilitating access to resources, and connecting them with relevant mentors and industry experts.
  • Maintain program databases, prepare reports, and manage program documentation.

Event Operations (20%):

  • Help organize and manage events such as our signature Summit Event, pitch days, and networking sessions. This includes managing registrations, setting up venues, and ensuring smooth event operations.

Marketing & Community Building (20%):

  • Actively engage with the startup community, including founders, mentors, and industry partners. Foster positive relationships and gather feedback to enhance the program.
  • Assist in creating social media strategy and posts to drive visibility in the Travel ecosystem.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience in Customer Service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and familiarity with project management tools (Monday and CRMs (salesforce, hubspot) )is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and willingness to learn and grow.

Plug and Play's attendance policy: 4 days at the office, 1 day at home
