Starting Salary Range: $43,662 – $51,667, commensurate with experience

Summary
The Admissions Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating, configuring, and delivering admission recruiting content, including emails, outbound texts (SMS), automated phone calls, and print materials, using a CRM system. The coordinator develops content for communication plans for outreach to prospective students, applicants, and campus partners, and maintains the applicant portal and lead generation forms. Key responsibilities include content creation and copywriting, project management and timeline coordination, consulting with campus partners to implement communication needs, monitoring and reporting on content performance, and researching and developing best practices for email and SMS communications. The coordinator also performs test deployments to ensure content accuracy, prepares list queries, coordinates stakeholder proofing, manages the email calendar, troubleshoots issues, generates metrics, and provides guidance on email functionality. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in communication efforts.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Prospective Student CRM System Management: Learn, configure, manage, and administer the prospective student CRM and related digital communications efforts, including email, SMS, and outbound calling campaigns to recruit prospective students. Procure, manage, and analyze prospective student databases and lists. Manage multiple, concurrent projects from a variety of stakeholders. Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and produce high-quality, effective communication campaigns in a deadline-driven environment.
Content Creation, Delivery, and Analysis: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels with a variety of backgrounds to develop and deliver relevant communication content to prospective students. Develop outbound communication campaigns reflecting an understanding of complex segments of prospective students for high-value research and health professions programs. Campaigns will reflect a knowledge of higher education workflow, knowledge and understanding of digital communications assets, and adherence to university style and communications standards. Perform ongoing list analysis and campaign outcomes for continuous improvement.
Other Duties: Perform other admission services duties as assigned, such as communicating with stakeholders, answering emails, and inbound SMS messages, assisting with large on-campus events, etc.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a student-facing college or university admission or academic office (may include time as a part-time employee and/or graduate assistant) to demonstrate an understanding of higher education new student enrollment workflow in an interview setting.
  • Knowledge of email & SMS marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with communication systems and software.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital communication production.
  • Sound knowledge of a CRM system from employment experience.
  • Knowledge of university style and communications standards.
  • Graphic design experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer, and other office equipment. Ability to work evening and/or weekend hours on occasion, as needed.
