Starting Salary Range: $60,356 – $71,422, commensurate with experience

Summary
The Associate Director, Health Promotion & Leadership is responsible for serving as subject matter expert in support of health education, coaching, and leadership initiatives across the Executive Education program portfolio. The Associate Director, Health Promotion & Leadership, in partnership with the Executive Director, serves as the co-program director of the Executive Education Healthcare Leadership program.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Healthcare Leadership: Co-lead Healthcare Leadership program curriculum development, review, and content creation. Recruit and supervise program instructors, as necessary. Partner with subject-matter counterparts at affiliate organizations to ensure the program meets customer needs. Support program marketing, registration, and learner selection, as needed. Be a leader in curriculum content development as subject matter expert in health education and leadership. Coordinate program events and learning environments, online and in-person. Assess, improve, and report on the program based on learner feedback and program review outcomes. Oversee administration of learner outcomes assessment and program evaluation.
Health and Well-being Coaching: Support the Director, Health and Well-being Coaching Certificate Program in instruction, mentorship, and coaching in the Health and Well-being Coaching Certificate Program (HWCCP). Assist with program administration, curriculum consulting, and related projects as needed.
New Program Development: Contribute to development of new Executive Education programming as a subject matter expert in health education, leadership, and coaching.
Mentorship: Build and manage a network of volunteer and paid healthcare leaders to mentor learners across the Executive Education portfolio. Collaborate with hospital affiliates to establish mentorship networks and partnerships
Budget and Administrative Responsibilities: Support administrative and budgetary functions of assigned programs. Provide program and content-specific marketing materials to support Executive Education marketing goals and strategies. Prepare program reports as requested.
Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Terminal degree in health promotion, leadership, health education, or an equivalent degree/commensurate experience.
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching in a health/medical education setting.
  • NBHWC certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in curriculum development or instructional design for adult education.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment. Must be able and willing to travel to off-site events and educational sessions.
