| Summary | This full time, shared faculty position will be co-funded by Cleveland Clinic and NEOMED. The faculty will spend 80% of their time at the clinical site, with a primary focus on establishing a viable Ambulatory Care practice and precepting pharmacy students (up to 16 student months/year). Campus activities include workshop/lab facilitation, lecturing, admission interviews, committee service and student advising. Scholarship is an expected activity for all faculty in the College of Pharmacy. |
| Principal Functional Responsibilities | Teaching: Faculty responsibilities will include campus-based education such as small/large group teaching, student applicant interviews, assessments/evaluations, and student advising. Scholarship: All faculty are expected to participate in producing scholarly work, which may include clinical and/or outcomes research, review articles, book chapters, case reports and more. Presentations at local, regional and national meetings will be expected. Service: Participation on departmental, College, and University committees is expected. In addition, faculty members are expected to be active in local, state and national professional organizations. Faculty will be expected to participate in structured on-campus faculty development programs. |
