The Director of Employee Success and Development is responsible for designing and executing strategies that foster a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workforce. This role leads initiatives that support employee engagement career development, performance management, leadership training, and organizational culture. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and empathetic leader who thrives on building programs that empower employees and drive business success.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Employee Success
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Coach leaders and managers on effective team building, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and practices, maintaining a positive and respectful workplace culture with a fair and consistent approach.
Employee Engagement
  • Develop and lead organization-wide engagement strategies to improve employee satisfaction, morale, and retention.
  • Champion initiatives that promote recognition, well-being, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • In conjunction with the Executive Director of HR, analyze engagement survey data and partner with leaders to implement action plans.
Learning & Development
  • Coordinate, design and oversee learning and development programs for employees and managers, including skills training, leadership development and professional development.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Performance Management
  • Lead the design and execution of performance management systems that align with organizational goals.
  • Provide tools and coaching to managers for effective goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience in human resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR Certification
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
Department Specific Information
Starting salary range $68,075-$75,000, commensurate with experience.
