Summary
The NEOMED Health Care Clinic is seeking a talented advanced practice nurse (APRN) to join our cutting-edge, patient-centered practice that combines top-tier medical care. We are a relatively new university-based practice focused on integrated care, and we’re seeking a dedicated clinician to join our team and help us shape the future of healthcare. NEOMED Health Care is a team-based collaborative practice searching for a forward thinking and collegial APRN to join our team. We focus on providing high quality healthcare in an interprofessional environment to serve our community. This role will provide professional medical services to students, employees, and the community to include primary care, chronic disease management, regular routine care including history, physical exams, labs, prescriptions for medications, and possible opioid use disorder treatments.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provides full primary care to new and existing patients including initial assessment, acute and chronic care, management of common to moderately complex medical problems, coordination of care, collaboration with other specialists and referrals for treatment when necessary. Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines imaging and clinical laboratory tests required. Interprets examination findings and test results and implements treatment plans. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through interviews. Maintains complete and accurate medical records in a timely fashion.

Qualifications
  • Current unencumbered Ohio License to practice APRN
  • Current DEA certificate
  • APRN degree from an accredited university
  • Successful completion of an accredited APRN program of training in family medicine or internal medicine/pediatrics, or equivalent experience.
  • Forward thinking, collegial, collaborative individual
  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for integrated care and working with an interdisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years’ APRN Primary Care experience or equivalent
  • Experience using the EPIC electronic health record system
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment.
