Position Summary Information
Summary
Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s). Support program activities and serve as liaison between program(s) and constituents as directed.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s), including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and drafting correspondence. Duties may include serving as receptionist to greet visitors, answer phones and general office inquires. Maintain program documentation, files, and records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Program Support: Support program activities as requested (i.e., proctoring exams, lectures, departmental events). Serve as liaison between program staff, faculty, students and other applicable constituents
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-year related work experience in an office environment
  • Experience in higher education
Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
Department Specific Information
Provide reception, communication, scheduling, and data processing support to the Office of Admission and Financial Aid. Responsible for supporting staff, prospective, and continuing students through effective written and interpersonal communication, data processing, and delivery of accurate information. Maintain student records in accordance with FERPA and GLBA regulations. Work is performed in a dynamic, public-facing, flexible environment requiring the ability to adapt to a variety of tasks.

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following experiences:
• Exceptional public-facing communication skills.
• Experience with delivering outbound CRM communication.
• Experience maintaining web sites through CMS systems.

Starting Pay Rate: $15.95 – $17.50, commensurate with experience.
