Position Summary Information
Summary | Full-time administrative and faculty position responsible for establishing, leading, and operational management of the NEOMED Dental Clinic, serving as a member of the college’s leadership team. Responsibilities include clinic operations, compliance, and continuous quality improvement, and teaching in the DDS program. Work collaboratively with the Associate Dean of Education & Academic Affairs and with the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs to ensure that the NEOMED Dental Clinic is in compliance with Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards. |

Principal Functional Responsibilities | Administrative: Responsible for establishing, leading, and providing day to day operational management of the NEOMED Dental Clinic. Will ensure that NEOMED Dental Clinic activities are compliant with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements and with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accreditation standards. Teaching: Responsible for teaching within the DDS program and providing clinical teaching to dental students across all facets of general dentistry. Supervise dental students in the clinical setting to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients. Provide hands-on demonstrations of clinical services/procedures and/or provision of clinical care to patients as needed. Service: Active participation on college and university committees will be required and assigned. In addition, membership and participation in state and national professional dental organizations is strongly encouraged. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. |
