Position Summary Information
Summary | The Project Manager position manages the planning, budget, equipment purchasing and installation, and overall project coordination for successful, on-time and in-budget start of a new College of Dentistry in 2025. Working closely with the College of Dentistry construction manager, the position ensures seamless synchronization between facility renovations and equipment and other critical elements for the college. This position develops an overall project plan, key progress measures, convenes and conducts regular in-process reviews, tracks and oversees the project to completion. Works closely with the Dean to ensure the college achieves required accreditation and is ready to matriculate its inaugural class in 2025. Northeast Ohio Medical University is an AA/EEO Employer. Qualifications | Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in project management or related preferred. Experience: 3 – 5 years experience in successful complex project management, preferably in higher education; 3 – 5 years related work experience in an administrative / department coordinator role with responsibilities. Reporting experience in higher education or grant administration strongly preferred. |
