Position Summary Information
Summary
The Business Manager for Executive Education supports and promotes the programmatic mission of the Institute of Health Care Executive Education and Leadership. This position provides administrative management of the operations for the Institute and an exceptional customer experience for professional learners (including C-Suite level) in representation and support of Executive Education programs. The position will work closely with the Director of Operational Excellence and program representatives to provide learner and faculty support, communication, logistics, and processing to ensure the implementation and evaluation of the Executive Education training platform and programs through a concierge customer journey experience. This position will interface with all levels of the organization and is the primary point of contact between the Institute, hospital affiliates, clinical professional learners, and external customers.

Pay Grade: 7
Starting Salary Range: $41,156 – $48,701

Principal Functional Responsibilities
Administrative Management:
  • Collaborate with Director of Operational Excellence and Operational Excellence Team to plan and organize all aspects of programming and mentoring of the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) service line and learning platform support of other Executive Education programs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact and manage all customer service needs related to access to the Canvas Learning Management System for faculty and learners enrolled in Executive Education programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience throughout the learners’ journey including program registration, payment, navigation of Canvas Learning Management System, scheduling, and credentialing.
  • Manage program logistics, both onsite and offsite, including reservation of space, catering, procurement of educational materials and technology.
  • Manage and operate within program budget(s).
  • Maintain session and program evaluation data to support continuous program improvement.

Program Communication and Coordination:
  • Coordinate and execute Executive Education communication plan including course communications, website maintenance, program promotion, email correspondence, presenter communication, post workshop surveys and messaging.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Executive Education program and participants, presenters, and other University and external stakeholders, which requires complex relationship building and a high level of communication.
  • Provide general and varied administrative support, such as: events/meetings management, routine administrative tasks, budget monitoring and management, and high-level support of the Lean Six Sigma service line.

Qualifications
Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience required. Program coordination and communication providing excellent customer service and experience working with high level health care professionals or adult professional learners is required.
Experience: 1-3 years related work experience in an academic, healthcare, or professional setting. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite are required. Experience in customer service preferred. Learning management system experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
