Position Summary Information
Summary
Provide high level administrative support to the Human Resources department. Primary focus is on entering and maintaining all payroll and HRIS system data, ensuring the accuracy and validation of any database information and reporting requiring high volume of daily data entry. Administrative support will include maintaining employee records and filing systems, processing incoming and outgoing documents and assist in maintaining departmental reports. Primary project management support will focus on systems administration and other departmental initiatives as assigned.

Pay Grade: 5
Starting Salary Range: $33,168 – $38,696

Principal Functional Responsibilities
Establish new employee records within the HRIS system, including the entry of salary and benefit information. Update employee records based on the appropriate change form; such as, salary increases, title or funding changes and promotions. Enter and maintain all employee deductions. Process all terminations, retirements, and vacation payouts within the HRIS system.

Act as primary point of contact to obtain data and reporting from HRIS systems. Serve as primary administrative support for any projects and/or initiatives for benefits, compensation and data management including all standing and customized reports. Maintain and configure confidential, complex information and/or reports as needed including departmental budget advising as to status on monthly basis. Process payroll packets for payroll. Maintain the EPAF system.

Serve as secondary system support for performance management and learning (NEOMED LEAD Center in Cornerstone) system.

Support departmental staff in serving all department visitors and general administrative support including but not limited to maintenance of all employee records and files, both electronic and paper; process and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent relevant HR or HRIS experience required.

Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources with previous experience in Banner required. Proven skills in data management, report generation and systems administration knowledge preferred. Ability to type both numerical and text data rapidly and accurately. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel. Proven experience in delivering all communications, both written and verbal, with continual focus on service excellence. Ability to think critically and problem solve both independently and as a team member.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
