Position Summary Information
Summary | Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni Relations, the Assistant Director of Alumni and Donor Engagement is responsible for planning and managing comprehensive alumni and donor engagement programs, projects and events that engage and strengthen connections to NEOMED, build relationships between alumni and students, help generate new and renewed gifts in support of the NEOMED Foundation’s priorities and goals. This position is responsible for creating new approaches to current methods of stewarding and engaging these key constituents on a more personal level, including in-person and online events. Qualifications | Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience.) Experience: Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in alumni relations, advancement, annual giving, preferable in medical higher education. Demonstrated philanthropic values and a commitment to service, superior written and oral communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and prospective donors. Must have outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, computer proficiency, professional demeanor, a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and confidence. |

Physical Requirements | Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment.
