Position Summary Information
Summary
As part of the NEOMED Advancement Division team, manage and provide information from the Raiser’s Edge database, including the processing of all charitable gift donations and pledges as well as managing data integrity. Create, maintain, and distribute donor stewardship reports. Assist with the process to move from Raiser’s Edge Database View to Raiser’s Edge NXT. Create and provide basic reports as needed. Provide general office support and assist in other areas of division operations as needed.

Starting Salary Range: $19.79 – $25.23

Principal Functional Responsibilities
1) Gift Processing
  • Process all University gifts, pledges, payments, acknowledgements/receipts and pledge reminders
  • Perform adjustment transactions, corrections, and write-offs
  • Process monthly/weekly payroll deductions
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department to process daily gift batches and perform the monthly reconciliations.
  • Provide support for PCI compliance.

2) Data Entry and Management
  • Maintain data in Raiser’s Edge database, including setting data standards and ensuring the Advancement Division’s adherence to those standards
  • Keep up to date on new Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge capabilities and updates
  • Research and update database with new contact information for constituents
  • Provide biographic, demographic, and statistical data from Raiser’s Edge database. Analyze and interpret staff requirements, retrieve, design, and deliver effective information tailored to target audiences
  • Responsible for data integrity in Raiser’s Edge database, including creating audits and overseeing updates.
  • Import and export data

3) Stewardship
  • Develop and distribute major donor stewardship reports
  • Process and distribute student thank you notes
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed

4) Reporting
  • Complete quarterly metrics reports for fundraising and gift officer analysis
  • Complete, or assist with, annual fundraising and alumni engagement reports and surveys
  • Regularly review past due pledge reports and pledge ending reports for discussion at team meetings
  • Build and run reports related to gift processes, data entry, and data audits
  • Provide other reports as necessary
Qualifications
Education/Degrees: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience with electronic tools and data in an office environment; work experience in Higher Education, not for profit and/or University Advancement experience preferred including an understanding of the personal nature of alumni affairs and fundraising structure and process.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products and database management required; knowledge and use of Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Self-motivated person with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skill

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Moderate travel may be required; must be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
