As a senior data analyst - strategy group you'll support the financial operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives of Level20, Progressive's growth incubator, and the broader Strategy organization. In this role, you'll partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure accurate financial reporting that enables informed decision-making. You'll manage financial close activities, analyze business performance, enhance reporting processes, and improve visibility into financial results. You'll also collaborate across the organization to maintain compliance with corporate accounting standards, strengthen financial controls, identify opportunities for process improvement, and contribute to the growth and success of innovative business initiatives.
This is a hybrid role that requires you to work out of our Level20 office in downtown Cleveland and our headquarters in Mayfield Village, Ohio.
Minimum qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of analytical work experience.
- Or bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years of analytical work experience.
- Or bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of 3 years analytical work experience.
Preferred skills
- Experienced accountant with expertise in month-end-close and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and organizational skills (planning, time management, and priority management).
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting issues to management in a timely and concise manner.
- Ability to structure and analyze problems with limited direction in an environment with shifting priorities and emerging requirements.
Compensation
- $81,400-$108,500/ year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive program up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
