: 239949As a lead software developer in the Product Service Management team, you’ll help support and enhance many of the core rating systems that house business functionality and rating logic for the platform. Working closely with other teams, you’ll write and modify code that houses business functionality and rating logic. Using your problem analysis and troubleshooting skills, you’ll identify root cause and corrective actions to resolve application issues. You’ll design and code solutions to support strategic goals and architectural vision along with maintaining and enhancing the applications for any changes in functionality for the projects. Using your technical support and guidance skills, you’ll assist users of the applications. Additionally, you’ll review designs and code in support of the project teams and service management team along with developing, modifying, and running test automation.
This is a remote position for US-based work only
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications
- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience
- In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications
Preferred skills
- Experience with Progressive's MVP Components application, MVP Framework application, and Telematics Snapshot
- Experience with the Components Release Process and target system interactions
- Development experience with C#, .NET and .NET Core, SQL Server RESTful APIs, and Web Services
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift platform for containerized development and with building or maintaining CI/CD tools
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks
Compensation
- $120,000-$143,000/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
