As a lead software developer on our IT Commercial Lines (ITCL) team, you’ll be part of our Strategic Planning and Architecture team partnering, mentoring, and collaborating with our business partners, developers, architects, and enterprise teams to innovate, advance, and promote our ITCL technologies and architecture. In this role, you’ll leverage your development skills to experiment, learn and build our cloud, on-premise and vendor strategies. You’ll coach and mentor the organization to adopt new and advancing architecture and partner with our architects to build strategies. As a part of the role, you’ll provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership and will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within our ITCL community.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of six years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience.
  • In lieu of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of eight years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred skills

  • Full stack development with C#, .NET, Angular (v4 or higher), AWS, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, Agile
  • Data focused mindset to improve customer and business outcomes with strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate with business and IT teams
  • Analytical, technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills along with demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies, learn quickly, and find clarity in ambiguity
  • Proficient working in cloud-based environment, like AWS, and software engineering languages, like Python
  • Extensive experience working with automation or scripting technologies, such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.

Compensation

  • $125,000 - $155,000/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
