As a product analyst on the Commercial Lines Auto team, you'll conduct research and analysis that supports the profitability and growth of our auto product in a variety of states. You'll work on all aspects of the product that drive our results. Additionally, you’ll assess monthly performance, identify segmentation opportunities, explore underlying drivers of trends, support product revisions and updates, and share findings with business partners.
Remote work allowed.
Must-have qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of one year analytical work experience.
- In lieu of a quantitative degree, a Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years of analytical work experience.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of analytical work experience.
- In lieu of the above, successful completion of Progressive's Analyst Boot Camp and Progressive's Internal Analyst Trainee program and a minimum one year analytical work experience.
Preferred skills
- Technical aptitude and experience in data manipulation and coding using tools such as SQL, SAS, R and Python
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with strong focus on customer service.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw conclusions
- Knowledge of Excel including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets – including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts and graphing
- Work experience in product, pricing, R&D, or reserving
Compensation
- $63,800 - $102,800/year depending on position level and experience
- Gainshare bonus up to 24% - 30% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
