As a communications specialist senior, you will ensure Progressive's brand voice shines through all Corporate HR content. Leveraging your expertise in writing and editing, you'll develop social and digital strategies for campaigns highlighting our people, programs, and culture. You'll guide HR leaders in creating meaningful content that captures the employee experience and demonstrates how our culture drives business success. Provide full-service consulting, lead strategic projects, and support initiatives related to Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This is a remote position.

Must-have qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in Communications or related field (i.e. Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Customer Service, and/or Public Relations)
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or related field (i.e. English Literature, Journalism, Media Studies or Communication Sciences) and a minimum of 6 years professional experience in Communications or related field (i.e. Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, Promotions, Customer Service, and/or Public Relations)

Preferred skills

  • Experience with expert-level written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into messaging easily understood by a broad audience to create engaging communications.
  • Experience with complex large-scale implementations (e.g. merger & acquisition and enterprise business transformation)
  • Thorough understanding of and experience with various communication tools and the ability to provide innovative/creative communications approaches
  • Strong understanding of creative writing and copy-editing
  • Strong project management and senior level stakeholder consulting skills, combined with planning and project implementation abilities

Compensation

  • $84,900 - $113,200/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
