Job Title: Learning Center Program Manager Department: Small Business Reports to: Senior Director, Education Services Date: 09/18/2025 FLSA Classification: Exempt Position Summary: The Learning Center Program Manager oversees day-to-day operations, scheduling, and program delivery across JumpStart’s Learning Centers. This role ensures alignment between people, programs, materials, and calendars—supporting a high-quality, consistent experience across all sites. The Program Manager works closely with staff, facilitators, and partners to maintain smooth execution and serves as a key liaison to leadership. Essential Job Functions - (40%) Curriculum Coordination & Oversight
- Support curriculum design and updates across adult and youth programming.
- Ensure curriculum delivery is consistent across facilitators and sites.
- Maintain organized libraries of lesson plans, workshop materials, and activity templates.
- Coordinate with facilitators and partners to align programming with Learning Center goals.
- (30%) Program & Team Organization
- Manage shared team calendars, programming schedules, setup timelines, and internal communications.
- Coordinate team logistics across all three Learning Center sites.
- Lead meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up across the team.
- Monitor staff assignments and adjust in real-time to maintain program quality and consistency.
- (20%) Administration & Compliance
- Track program deliverables, participation data, and inventory needs across locations.
- Ensure site and team adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Partner with staff to maintain accurate records in Airtable and other reporting tools.
- Coordinate supplies and support grant documentation and compliance tracking.
- (10%) Team Leadership & Strategic Support
- Serve as the primary liaison between Learning Center staff and leadership.
- Step in to address gaps in planning, preparation, or delivery as needed.
- Support new team member onboarding and ongoing coordination.
- Foster alignment across staff, partners, and sites to ensure strategic and consistent implementation.
- Regularly attend meetings
Decision-Making Responsibility (can be removed for non-exempt roles) - Makes day-to-day decisions to keep Learning Center operations running smoothly.
- Decides how to adjust staff schedules, program plans, or materials based on what’s needed.
- Solves problems as they come up and asks for help when bigger issues need to be addressed.
- Helps set priorities when there are competing tasks or tight deadlines.
- Works closely with leadership to suggest improvements and keep things aligned across all sites.

- Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and printers

Required Qualifications Education, Training and/or Experience - Commitment to JumpStart’s mission, vision, and values

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in program coordination, classroom management, or team operations
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing calendars, materials, and program logistics across multiple locations
- Ability to work closely with internal teams—including Small Business staff—to support seamless service delivery
- Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems to improve processes and communication
- Skilled at translating plans into action and helping others stay organized and aligned
Preferred Additional Qualifications, Education, Training and/or Experience - Experience teaching or leading group programs
- Experience creating or adapting curriculum
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Comfortable using and troubleshooting basic technology
- Familiarity with tools like Airtable or other tracking systems
