Location: Midtown Collaboration Center, Cleveland, OH
Schedule: Regular, Part-Time, Nonexempt - Wednesday-Friday 4:00 PM-9:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.

The Midtown Collaboration Center (MCC) is a vibrant hub in the heart of Cleveland’s Midtown neighborhood. The Center is designed to bring together entrepreneurs, community members, innovators, and partners under one roof. As a collaborator in MCC’s operations, JumpStart helps ensure the Center delivers on its mission of fueling connection, creativity, and growth through dynamic workspaces, meeting and event facilities, and community-driven programming.


Role Overview

The Part-Time Guest Services Coordinator (GSC) plays a key role in ensuring that every visitor, tenant, and team member has a welcoming and positive experience at MCC. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-first environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in keeping operations smooth and professional.

The GSC collaborates with the MCC team to provide daily guest services, front desk coverage, and event support. From greeting guests to assisting with room setups, monitoring building needs, and supporting event logistics, this role contributes directly to creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere at the Center.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Experience

  • Serve as the on-site lead for Innovation Hall meeting room services, ensuring smooth daily operations and a high-quality guest experience.

  • Greet and assist visitors, providing building tours and orientations as needed.

  • Support event-related communications, including parking, room reservations, and setup details.

  • Maintain inventory of café, mail, and supply areas.

Team & Facility Support

  • Provide backup coverage for the MCC Reception Desk, greeting guests and managing calls.

  • Assist with meeting room scheduling, event setup, and basic marketing coordination.

  • Monitor building needs, reporting and coordinating with maintenance and facility staff.

  • Support event logistics such as setup, tear-down, and vendor coordination.

Administrative Support

  • Assist with invoice processing and accounts payable workflows.

  • Maintain organized records and vendor relationships.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 2+ years of experience in guest services, customer service, or office administration.

  • Event support or facility management experience preferred.

  • Ability to lift/move furniture and equipment for events.

Skills & Attributes

Part-Time Hours: Evenings and weekends. Wednesday-Friday 4:00PM-9:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM-2PM
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of web-based scheduling/communication tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend coverage.
