Position Summary
Internship available with fast paced, nimble Advancement department will give you hands-on experience in non-profit fundraising and the opportunity to see entrepreneurship in action. You will work in various areas and interact with senior-level management of the organization. Providing project-based support across several critical functions of the department to fulfill the organization’s mission.
Start Date: As soon as possible, extending through the spring semester and longer if decided. Hybrid position (remote and in-office*) *Hours: 10-20 per week *Pay: $14 per hour
Essential Job Functions · Prospect research of individuals, corporations, and foundations. · Assist with database management and tracking of prospects in Salesforce CRM · Research to support proposals including market data and trends · Grant reporting support across foundation, corporate, and government support. · Providing support for annual giving campaign · Other projects and duties as assigned · Reporting weekly on activities to Advancement Team
Requirements: · Currently attending an accredited college or university in a related major with at least one semester in school remaining · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Professional approach and maturity in handling self in a professional environment · Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills · Strong self-starter, desire to take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment · Aptitude for planning and deadline oriented · Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Physical Demands/Working Conditions · Travel · When required, attend and work local special events related to the Advancement department · Normal professional office environment
