New Position: Software Developer

Intwine Connect, LLC, is currently looking for a full-time software developer to work on a wide variety of projects using the Python programming language. The Software Developer will work under the direction of the Chief Engineer and Software Lead on tasks relating to integration, development, and testing of software interfaces between a Debian-based Linux OS and an array of connected devices. Beyond device connectivity, the Developer will also work to create new analysis/control routines including optimization, signal processing, and distributed control.

The position can evolve in a number of directions depending on the interests of the Developer. Possible work can include cloud application development, the development of autonomous systems, machine learning, and many others.

What You Will Be Doing

Initially, the Developer will be working with the Chief Engineer to develop, test, and deploy algorithms for the management and optimization of energy use in buildings. The position will then grow and change with the needs of Intwine and the interests of the Developer.

What You Need For This Position

Critical requirements are experience programming in Python, previous use of version control (ideally Git), and being a quick learner capable of self-direction. Beneficial skills include experience with Linux development, familiarity with C, REST API, HTML/CSS, concurrent programming, software algorithms, and machine learning technologies.
