New Position: Embedded Linux OS Developer

Job Description

Intwine Connect, LLC, is currently looking for a full-time embedded Linux OS developer to work on developing, deploying, and maintaining a secure environment on an ARM-based edge-computing platform. The Developer will work under the direction of the Chief Engineer and Software Lead.

What You Will Be Doing

The Developer will be working across the entire root filesystem of the edge-computing platform to implement Secure Boot and Secure Update. The Developer will then be responsible for testing, validation, and maintenance of the entire system including trusted OS, untrusted OS, bootloaders, and the system kernel. The Developer may be asked to work directly with customers to understand design requirements, provide feedback, and maintain secure status across the complete software lifecycle. Over time, the position will grow and change with the needs of Intwine and the interests of the Developer.

What You Need for this Position

Critical requirements are experience with low-level ARM-based systems. The Developer must be comfortable working with embedded Linux systems, cross-compilation, and have a firm grasp of cryptography concepts. Familiarity and previous experience with ARM TrustZone, U-Boot, OSTree, are all highly recommended. The Developer must be able to adopt a workflow based around git with an emphasis on unit testing.

Where You Will be Working

Ideally, the Developer would work in person at our engineering office in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Both hybrid and fully remote are possible options for the right Developer.
