Our Cordella Heart Failure System (CHFS) includes proactive management tools for best practice care and detection of worsening heart failure. These easy-to-use tools improve patient quality of life and help to reduce hospital admissions thereby reducing health care costs. WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the development team that delivers software to production. Your skills in evaluating software and designing automated test protocols to ensure that products work as intended will help increase quality. You will also be responsible for completing all testing procedures, preparing regulatory documentation, and project-managing testing cycles. The Software Test Engineer should have advanced knowledge of software design and engineering, a good eye for detail, and a natural gift for breaking software. This position is full-time and based onsite in our Naperville, IL headquarters. Your responsibilities will include:
- Be a teammate on a cross functional software delivery team
- Understand and analyze the Product – its purpose, requirements, risks, history, and future
- Clarify and simplify software requirements and tests
- Own the overall V&V and testing strategy
- Develop and maintain software tests
- End-to-end Automation (using tools such as Appium and Cypress)
- API Automation (using tools such as Postman)
- Mobile device testing (using tools like emulators, BrowserStack, DeviceFarm)
- Instrumented Tests (using javascript, java, android studio)
- Unit Tests (using junit, nunit, .net, c#)
- Deploy software to testing environments (using tools like ADO pipelines)
- Execute V&V testing cycles
- Prepare and project-manage testing documentation for regulatory and compliance
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 3+ years of general software or software testing experience
- 1+ years of test automation development
- Junior-developer level software acumen
- Experience with or clear path to learn: Cypress, AATD, Appium, cucumber, gherkin, git, sourcetree, visual studio code, android studio, MDM solutions, AWS, react native, angular.
- Experience in an FDA regulated industry with medical device products (desired)
EDUCATION
- BS in engineering or computer science, Or
- BA/BS with relevant experience, Or
- Equivalent relevant experience
