Job Overview:

Embrace Pet Insurance is excited to offer an opportunity for a QA Engineer role within our technology team. This position is ideal for individuals with programming experience, particularly in JavaScript, looking to expand their skills in automated testing and further develop their career. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software releases.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, focusing on both manual and automated testing using Playwright.
• Take ownership of project quality, demonstrating thoroughness in test planning and execution.
• Engage in ongoing learning to create, maintain, and enhance automated tests, particularly in JavaScript.
• Actively participate in enhancing the Quality Assurance processes within the company.
• Support the release of tested code into production, aligning with existing Azure DevOps processes.

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role demanding high attention to detail.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of detail orientation.
• A proactive approach to learning new skills, particularly in the areas of test automation.

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

• Prior experience or familiarity with testing methodologies and frameworks, such as Playwright, Postman, and other JavaScript-based testing tools.
• Experience with Git and RESTful Services/APIs.
• Knowledge of front-end test automation, API testing, and other QA methodologies.
• Interest in learning about mobile application testing as part of professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
