Alexandre Family Farm is looking for CDL A Regional Cattle & Hay Driver in Northern California to haul hay & occasional lumber loads. The right candidate will play a vital role in the continued success of our customers, our company, and ultimately, themselves. Our drivers are team players—professional, dependable, and committed to doing the job right.

Compensation

• Pay per mile: 60 CPM
• On Duty Hourly rate: $25
• Additional Pay:
• Layover pay: $40 per night, in sleeper
• Loading/Unloading pay: $25/Standard hourly rate
• Detainment pay: $16.50/hr
• Paid semi-monthly/can be via direct deposit

Home Time, Route and Schedule

• Home Time: Home weekly, 2-day Overnight Routes
• Route: Hauling hay From Klamath Falls & Fort Jones to Crescent City Area
• Cattle: Petaluma Routes
• Level of touch: Touch freight

• Trailer varies depending on haul

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A license
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Tank Endorsement in state of residence preferred but not required
• Doubles endorsement required
• No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3-year period
• No more than 2 accidents within a 3-year period
• Pre-employment and annual DOT drug screens required
• Current Medical Examiner’s Report
• Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner and comply with all relevant DOT regulations
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Successful applicants will be subject to DOT pre-employment drug screen, as well as motor vehicle, background, and reference checks.
