Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A dedicated local dry van drivers in Grand Rapids, MI. Drivers will be hauling forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Compensation

• Average gross weekly pay: $1,400
• Pay based on miles and stops with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate of $27.70
• Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty
• Stop pay: $15 - $33 per stop
• Hazmat placarded loads pay an additional 4 CPM
• Bonuses:
• Sign-on bonus: $1,500

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Starting between 5 - 6pm
• Route: Primarily hauling to Fort Recovery, OH terminal and back
• Level of Touch: No touch freight, primarily drop & hook

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
• No felony in the past 7 years
• No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
