We are looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative to support our growing intermodal sales department for two of our companies: Horizon Freight System and TRX, Inc.
This position is full-time, on-site in our Cleveland, Ohio office.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be integral in driving revenue growth by assisting our sales reps, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities of the Position:
- Generate and maintain customer reports to support our sales reps
- Follow up on sales opportunities identified by sales reps to convert leads into business
- Communicate with customers, our network of agents, and internal departments
- Manage incoming rate requests and large Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
- Update pricing within a digital platform
- Follow up on volume quote opportunity submissions
- Send pricing and rates to customers when appropriate
- Leverage company reports to identify new customers and analyze volume trends
- Use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-ups
Required Qualifications & Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to recognize and appropriately respond to tone in phone and email correspondence
- Ability to handle a high volume of emails with efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to type efficiently and accurately
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with digital pricing platforms
- Background in freight or logistics (i.e., a trucking company, freight forwarder, or 3PL)
- Previous experience supporting a sales team or business development function
- Knowledge of U.S. geography as it relates to logistics and transportation
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (on-site in Cleveland, OH)

Physical Demands of the Position:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; and reach with hands and arms to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
