The Bessemer Management family of trucking companies is looking for a full-time, on-site Advanced Help Desk Support Specialist in our Cleveland, Ohio office.

In this position and as part of our IT Team, you will be responsible for all levels of in-person, phone, and email technical support for remote and on-site users, including the day-to-day maintenance of an IT environment made up of 100+ servers across 2 states, 350+ workstations, and a variety of enterprise-level softwares.

Responsibilities of the Position

• Troubleshooting software and hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and servers
• Interacting with end users to independently resolve problems concerning system function
• Installing/configuring/maintaining enterprise software
• PC configuration and regular maintenance of PCs
• Update customers regularly on ongoing trouble tickets
• Creating/modifying documentation for new and changing processes
• Establish, build and maintain good working client relationships

Qualifications & Interpersonal Skills

• Strong technical skills
• Desktop and server administration experience
• Proficient in Windows-based operating systems and MS Office
• College degree or equivalent work experience in a similar position
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with users and make step-by-step instructions relatable
• Ability to quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time in a fast-paced environment
• Can work logically through situations or problems
• Can leverage extensive knowledge base of previously successful solutions while also being able to problem-solve and document new issues

Physical Demands of the Position

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to stand, walk, and sit; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; and reach with hands and arms to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
