Job Summary:
The Engagement Manager owns the end-to-end client relationship for assigned customers, serving as the primary point of accountability from implementation through ongoing delivery and success. This role combines project management, account management, and client advisory responsibilities to ensure clients realize value while maintaining high satisfaction, compliance alignment, and long-term retention.
The Engagement Manager partners closely with all other departments - including Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Support - to deliver implementations on time & within budget, deliver & manage ongoing initiatives, and proactively address client needs in a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead client implementations from contract handoff through go-live
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure successful delivery
- Manage scope, change requests, and implementation communications
- Ensure implementations align with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements
- Own post-implementation initiatives, enhancements, and platform expansions
- Manage client requests, prioritization, and expectations across multiple concurrent engagements
- Facilitate regular client check-ins, business reviews, and roadmap discussions
- Act as a client advocate internally
- Monitor platform adoption, usage, and key performance indicators
- Identify risks to delivery or satisfaction and drive resolution
- Understand applicable financial services regulations impacting clients (e.g., payments, banking, data security)
- Ensure client activities align with company policies, risk controls, and compliance requirements
- Escalate potential compliance, operational, or reputational risks appropriately
- Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, documentation, and client-facing processes
- Maintain accurate client records, project documentation, and status reporting
A successful Engagement Manager will have the following:
- 4+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as Engagement Manager, Project Manager, Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager
- Experience managing complex implementations or projects in a SaaS environment
- Strong project management skills, including timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously
- Comfort working with technical, operational, and compliance stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking technology, or regulated SaaS
- Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, or platform-based products
- Experience working with financial institutions and enterprise clients
- PMP, CSM, or similar certification
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location. This position is eligible for Company bonus and equity.
